Over the last
several days, a Windsor resident reported being called by a male subject
attempting to solicit personal information. The call originated from a Town of
Windsor employee phone number. It was determined that the call likely
originated from outside of the United States. The caller likely used technology
which enables them to “spoof” any phone number to appear on caller ID. We would
like to remind you that Town employees will never ask for your personal
information over the phone.
